PROV is chairing an Australasian Digital Recordkeeping Initiative (ADRI) M365 Working Group, which aims to support the work National Archives Australia (NAA) is doing with Microsoft to improve recordkeeping functionality in M365. ADRI is an initiative of the Council of Australasian Archives and Recordkeeping Authorities (CAARA). As well as NAA and PROV, the M365 Working Group has members from Archives New Zealand and most Australian States and Territories.
NAA has surveyed Commonwealth public offices to identify the M365 functionality they would most like Microsoft to improve for recordkeeping. NAA has used the survey results to determine the seven most critical areas.
The other ADRI M365 Working Group members are now asking public offices in their jurisdictions to confirm whether they agree with the areas identified or believe there are other areas which are more critical.

Submissions are due by Friday 20 December 2024.
Results will be collated, de-identified and then provided to NAA for their discussions with Microsoft.
